It seems no matter where you look young and old are carrying around these little iPods and listening to their favorite tunes, or a podcast that they have downloaded off the internet. More and more though these iPods from the factory come with inferior headphones and people are always on the lookout for some upgrades to what they have right now. We have gathered a small list of some of the best ones around in all prices ranges so you can better see what is available with iPod users.
Sennheiser has a long list of iPod headphones that could fill the page, but I will only go with one. Definitely one of my personal favorites is the CX 300. These are high quality stereo ear canal headphones with plenty of bass sounds coming from them Three different size adapters are included so you can get a perfect fit into your ear. These are great for jogging as they are lightweight and you won’t even know you have them on. These have great frequency response from 18-21,000 Hz and 16 ohms impedance. 3.5mm right-angled stereo mini-jack plug comes standard with them.
If you have every used a set of Koss headphones than you know the quality they produce and this entry for the iPods are no exception. With low cost and soft cushions which lets you easily pinch them and once inside your ear they expand back to shape to block out outside noise for a much better listening experience. Deep bass sound is something these will produce from your iPod better than your standard factory ones you received. One of things that Koss headphones do give you is they are universal an almost work in any kind of listening device you have. With the low cost and great sounds you will get it’s tough to beat this set of headphones for the price.
Of course if you really want your music to come alive than you must have the Shure SE530. This entry will set you back some money, but if you want pure sound quality you will be very hard pressed to find a better set of headphones. Shure uses Triple TruAcoustic Micro-speakers to create something that really has to be heard to believe. It seems you’re right their where the music is playing. The music range is incredible and from low-to-mid-to high ranges can be heard with crystal clear clarity. With an ergonomic design and isolating sleeves that block 90 percent of ambient noise it will be hard to find a better pair. Of course you will pay for quality, but in this case it’s well worth the money.
Last, but sure not least is the iStuff in ear headphones, these low cost great looking headphones do many things and sounding great is just one of them. They are a great pair to replace your factory set and at a very affordable price to boot. Comfort is another big reason these are popular. With the in ear design they sit in the ear canal and blocks out a lot of outside noise so you can listen to your music uninterrupted, great value for the price and performance to boot.
As you can see there are many iPod headphones that are available to replace those worn out or outdated headphones you use now. Depending on what you want to spend and the type you’re looking for the ones mentioned above will do a very good job keeping the noise out besides letting you listen to your tunes in great stereo sound.
