Sennheiser PXC 300 is a good combination of price and performance that you may find in this type of headphone. The on-ear headset fits well and is very comfortable. It folds for easy storage in its carrying case so traveling with it is a breeze. The only real drawback on this model is that the noise reduction is not as good as in the Bose, but of course you’re looking also at half the price. It does require two AAA batters to power the unit and will
allow music to pass through even with dead batteries, which the Bose does not.
Last on our list is the Panasonic RP-HC300, which has a very good entry-level price for noise, canceling headphones. The performance of this unit was decent considering the price and is very comfortable and lightweight. Not allowing pass through music when the battery is dead is something that we do not like, but
overall not a bad unit if you do not want to spend a lot of money.
There are many factors that you will want to look at. Both perform well as far as noise reduction goes and sound quality. In the end, it could come down to price for many. If you can afford the higher end than go with Bose If not you definitely cannot go wrong with Sennheiser either. No matter what it will come down to what you like best and comfortable with.
