Headphones these days are constantly changing and noise-canceling headphones seem to be the rage. Everywhere you look; it seems companies are coming out with new issues right and left. Some are good and some are not so good. Creative technology has issue their own set and I was interested to see how well it would perform. I have tried many different type of noise canceling headphones so this set intrigue me a lot. Read further to see how well this stacks up against the competition in this very tough market.

If there is, one thing I hate it is excessive noise in my world. I try to keep it down to as little as possible and one way that I have found to do that is with noise canceling headphones. Out of the box the construction, aspect of these seems pretty good. They have plenty of ear cup padding and they gave me a nice fit. Once on I wore them for a few hours, they seem very comfortable, and they did not hurt my head even after having them on for a few hours. Most noise canceling headphones are very comfortable and this was no exception either.

Sound quality on noise canceling headphones seems to vary by manufacturers so I was very interested in seeing what kind of sounds these would produce. These were on the low end as far as price so I really did not expect a lot out of these. The sound from these was very good and comparable to other sets that cost a lot more. They had good tones and the bass was also very good which is usually hard to find on a low-end price set of noise canceling headphones. All-in all I really like the sound quality that came from these no matter what type of music I threw at them.

So far, the sound has been good and the comfort level was excellent now we have to check out the noise-canceling feature. Now what many people fail to realize about noise canceling features and that they do not cancel out all the noise around you. Most will cancel some noise, but I have yet to find a set of headphones that give you totally 100 percent blockage. In the tests that I ran these through them did a good job. They blocked most of the external noise that was in the room and let me listen to my music in comfort. Now it did not block it all out, but I was not expecting that. It did a very good job so I had no complaints with that. In fact, these did a better job than some of the more expensive models I own.

Overall, these headphones from Creative technology showed us a few things. First of all they are comfortable to wear with plenty of padding to protect your ears and to keep noise out. Second, they produce some very good sound that you will love. I really did not think this model would produce good sound quality, but I was wrong so I must admit that. As far as the noise canceling features, those were not bad at all. They rank up there with higher priced models as far as their performance so I had no complaints about them either.

Should you purchase this set from Creative Technology? My answer would be yes without a doubt. If you are looking for a new set of headphones that perform with noise canceling features at a very good price than you cannot really ask for anything more than what this company gives you in the HN-605's. I have found these to be consistent performers over time and the noise canceling features work very well. If you need a new, set of headphones and do not want to break the bank than this is the set of headphones that you will want to own. Creative technology may not be a household name, but if they keep making quality products like this that will definitely change very quickly. Grab yourself a set of these and you will understand what I am talking about. Miss these and the only person you have to blame is yourself.
