Sennheiser PXC-250 Headphones- Another Quality product In the Sennheiser Line
One Thing You Know From Sennheiser Is You Get Your Money's Worth. When people first, hear the name Sennheiser they know when they pick their products up they will be of top quality in nature. The Sennheiser PXC-250 isn’t just another set of noise canceling headphones in the long line of successes this company has produced. So, what makes Sennheiser products stand out from others? Is it the quality? The Sound? Reliability? Or a combination of all the above? To be honest it's all the above. Sennheiser starts with an idea and built the product around it to be the best so people will want it. The PXC-250 is a noise canceling headphone that has many things that people love.
The PXC-250 uses the over the ear design and it's one of the most compact designs that Sennheiser gives you to date. Limiting outside noise is something the PXC-250 does exceeding well and ranks right up there with models costing twice as much. You can really hear the difference with this set of noise canceling headphones on planes, trains and even between kids yelling at each other inside your home. The spectrum of frequencies that it canceled noise out of can only is compared to some of Bose top products. That is saying something for the PXC-250. You get the adapters for flight travel that you need and a pair of AAA batteries power this small compact unit. If you’re traveling the headphones fold into a neat package so you have no worries about them getting in your way and causing you heartache when you travel. Let's now look at some of the finer points of the PXC-250 that you need to look at carefully.
One of the things that people tend not to look at and Sennheiser has done a good job with is the cord on their headphones. Having too long of a cord is a nuisance and to short of a cord is also a big hassle. Finding the right medium is something many companies still struggle with. The PXC-250 has found a perfect medium when it comes to their headphone cords. One drawback though with the PXC-250 is that after prolong use they tend to hurt my ears. Everyone's ears are not the same so this may just be an individual problem and not associated with the product. The nice padding on the headband may not seem a lot to most people, but on long flights it really does mean a lot. Sennheiser has seemed to take in these little things to make sure the product works for everyone.
Overall the PXC-250 is a step up from the PXC-150. You get better quality sound and more comfort in the headphone area. You still get the same quality you expect from Sennheiser that never leaves their products no matter how long you have them. Noise canceling headphones are made by many different manufacturers today and for the most part they are very well made. It seems though that Sennheiser products stand above the crowd more than any other. The PXC-250 retails for around $180 online and probably can be found cheaper elsewhere. The one thing that everyone will tell you about the PXC-250 is the noise canceling effects are excellent and I can attest to that. They work exceeding well and cancel a lot more noise than I thought was possible. Once you have this set of headphones you may never want to use another pair again. That is what the Sennheiser PXC-250 will do to you once you wrap them around your ears and let the music flow through.
