Sennheiser PXC-150 Noise Canceling Headphones-Small and Powerful
This Small But Powerful Noise Canceling Headphones Do The Job Where Others Fail. As noise pollution becomes more of a problem noise canceling, headphones are going to be in much more demand. The Sennheiser PXC-150 is trying to fill that void. With a retail price around $249 these are a great starter set of noise canceling headphones to cut out those unwanted noises that can affect your traveling or just relaxing at home as you block out unwanted noise. The PXC 150 headphones come in a protective pouch with drawstring aircraft audio adapters for those long enduring cross country airplane flights. One of the first things you will notice about the PXC-150 is how ultra lightweight and comfortable they are. They actually don't even feel like you have them on. This is due to the excellent design structure that Sennheiser employs in most all their products. As like more Sennheiser sound products the first thing you will notice the quality of the sound that comes out of the tiny speakers in the headset. Its pure magic and the clarity of the sound really can't be described. The PXC-150 has been designed for the traveler and that is something you can tell when you first use this pair of noise canceling headphones.
The Sennheiser PXC-150 comes with two adapters for the in-flight entertainment. Many times with other headphones you are just hoping you can make the right connection with in-flight entertainment. The PXC-150 has the 6.3mm stereo or the 3.5mm double mono jack so you can be assured of making a great connection to the music or entertainment you want without having to hear those outside noise such as the jet's engine or people talking. This set of noise canceling headphones has everything you need to make it your first and only set of noise canceling headphones the best possible. One of the things that most noise canceling headphones have a problem with is battery life. Surprisingly the batter life is really good and you get an extra set which is a nice touch from Sennheiser. When you first see noise canceling headphones, you think these don't work as good as they say, but the PXC-150 does a very good job compared to others I have tried. This is one model that comes through in all aspects of testing.
Looking over some of the vital information that many consumers find helpful the battery life for this model will usually last around 80 hours. Weight of the Sennheiser PXC-150 is only about 65 grams so they are really lightweight. If you shop around the price can be down to as little as $180. This really isn't bad for a set of noise canceling headphones of this type and quality. The Sennheiser PXC-150 is on the low end part of their noise canceling headphones, but still does a very excellent job for the money. The only real con to this pair of headphones is sometimes you will need to adjust the volume when you activate and cancel the noise reduction headphone mode. It's really nothing very significant, but one minor problem I had. All in all the PXC-150 performed better than I expected and did block out a good amount of noise to give a quieter more pleasurable listening environment than I ever had before. Grab these as they will do the job better than you can imagine. I was surprised, by the comfort, control and how well this small but powerful model worked. Where others have failed me, the Sennheiser worked extremely well in all the tests I put it through.
