Sennheiser HD212- Is This the Best Headphone Ever For Bass Lovers

One thing for sure you can say about Sennheiser products and that is they perform and usually very well at that. I’ve heard many different things about the HD212 and wanted to see if it’s as good as people have been telling me. You know when you hear the words one of the best around it starts to get you thinking on why you don’t have a set of these. Today we will look at these and see how they match up with others in the market. Who knows these could be the best ever. Let’s put them to the test and find out firsthand.

Looking over the specifications, you will notice some very interesting things to start out with. The HD 212 is a semi-circum-aural closed type of headphones which means it should fit very comfortably on your head without a lot of added pressure that many models do have. Frequency response is in the 12hz-19khz which isn’t bad at all in fact very good indeed. This model comes with lightweight turbine diaphragms for very powerful low bass sounds which we will talk about later in this review. The HD 212 Pro as it’s called and HD 270 are pretty much made on the same order, but were only going to look at the HD 212 today. One of the first things you will notice is the construction on these. Sennheiser always makes well constructed, but this model seems better than some I’ve seen from them before. With a weight of only 4.6 ounces weight you down definitely won’t be a problem either. Many people worry about how long they can wear a set ofstereo headphones before they start to hurt. It seems this model was designed for all day use as I’ve seen no problem with the time I used them.

Bass is something that people love in today’s music and certainly in their headphones too. If you’re that type of person then you’re going to love these. Bass is what these are all about. From a low end to high end that sound comes through more than any other. Clear concise sounds seem to radiate from these every second you have them on. If you also like your music loud with no distortions than these are also right up your alley too. Ear doctors will hate this pair because you can increase the volume with very little distortion at all which is very tough to do for a pair of headphones especially on the mid-level as far as price goes.

Overall the question begs to be answered are these best ever. I will tell you they do come very close. Plenty of great sound will be pumped out of these and that is a fact. Bass is what these are all about so if you hate bass than please don’t apply here. If you want a quality set of headphones that perform, sound great and won’t set you back a lot of money than yes this could be the best set of headphones. I know the Sennheiser HD 212 pro is definitely the real deal and something to consider if you’re looking to get a set of headphones in the future. Their maybe better sets out there, but you’re going to pay a lot more that is for sure. Grab these while you can before your friends have them and you’re at their mercy.
