Philips SHE9700 Takes In-Ear headphones To New Level
One thing about Philips electronics they might not introduce a lot of new products, but when they do it is usually noteworthy and the SHE9700 is one such model. This angle tube in-ear earphone is quite different from probably anything that you will run into for a long while. According to Philips, they carried out extensive research into this project and this is what they have yielded from that research the new angletube in-ear headphone. Read further and find out if this new product is something that will work for you.
The very first thing that you will notice about the SHE9700 is the weird shape for an in-ear headphone it has. Most people dismiss it as not very pleasing or that it will not do the job. I will tell you looks can be deceiving as the tests that have been done give a total opposite picture of this angle tube in-ear headphone. This model combines a unique angle tube design with a great passive noise canceling headphone isolation that delivers quality sound. The angle tube technology uses a ergonomically designed to give you a special shape that fits into your ears to channel the sound waves to the eardrum thus give must less chance for distortion of the music and much better quality. It all sounds good, but does it really do that.
My biggest concern was how they would fit in the ear and if they would say in. I can tell you they have a very good fit, nit too tight just what I was looking for and it did block out the passive noise that it said it would. It comes with three ultra soft interchangeable silicon ear caps so you should be able to get a good fit, which was something I was worried about. The exact shape of the headphone design was the result of long detail research by Philips into the profile of the ear, which you can tell once you put these headphones into your ear. I was surprised at the good fit and how comfortable these were. I thought maybe a tight fit would happen and they may hurt the ear, but nothing like that happened.
Now it is great that you have a new design and did all the research, but does it sound great as well. I can attest to you that the sound quality is right there as well. I thought it may be lacking since they worked so hard on the design, but I can tell you it does not. You will hear crisp clear solid sound throughout the spectrum. I could not believe how great it sounded from such a small set of headphones. I hear great sounds at all levels and distortion was almost nonexistent. I think the reasons these sound so good is the fit that you’re given. The sound gets so quickly to your eardrum that the distortion is quickly eliminated and all you hear is crisp clear sound.
An asymmetric connection cable is provide with an extra long cord which means you will not pull these out of your ears. Many companies tend to forget that and give you a very short cord and one twist or movement and the cord pops out and you need to reinsert the headphones. This becomes a hassle over time, but Philips makes sure this does not happen which is something I wish more companies would think about. A compact case is included to neatly store your headphones so nothing happens to them when they are not being use.
Overall, the Philips SHE9700 in-ear headphone is something that you should really take a closer look at. Most people tend to look at the design and dismiss it as an option. Do not do that or you are making a very big mistake. These really do perform very well. You will get a very good fitting headphone that will deliver you some quality sound and the best part is these are really a very affordable set of headphones. Philips has spent a lot of time and research on this product and you can tell as it is one of the better ones that they have made. The angle tube effect gets the music to you faster, which means you will get to enjoy it much quicker and less distortion will happen which is something I really like. It also has passive noise isolation, which means noise from the outside world stays outside, which is something I really like about them. Grab these and you will be surprised at how well they do perform.
