These consumer headphones excel in many headphone rating areas. Finding a lower end priced set of headphones is getting tougher all the time. With more companies entering the market and producing low end products finding your way through the headphone market can be hard. The Panasonic RP-HJE50-S consumer headphones are a set of low end headphones that may just be what you are looking for. They retail for around $39.99 so that fits into the low end mode. Are they worth it though? That is the question that we will try and answer. The HJE50 has a z style design which means that one side of these ear buds are longer. You can stretch the cord apart so they will match up in length than tape the cord together so they will match. Personally though for most that shouldn't be an issue. Like most earplug headphones it takes awhile for these to get going. After around 150 hours of use the sound seems to really come in and they play wonderfully. Plenty of bass will be something that you better get use to as it has that. Personally if you love clear bass sound then you will love the HJE50 from Panasonic. If your MP3 player has bass buttons or other music enhancements on it these headphones work great for that.
Comfort is something that you wouldn't expect from a low end headphone product. With ear bud pads in small, medium, and large they fit exceeding well inside your ear and falling out is not a problem. Many small end headphones you always have to adjust to get them to work just right. The HJE50 works well in this department and is a welcome site for a low end set of headphones. Now just like anything that is on the low end of the market there are good things and bad things about the product. The HJE50 has many great things going for it. Now if you want a set of headphones that do a little more than it will cost you more money. For most low end users though this set of headphones should work well with their existing MP3 players and other applications. For the money spent this set of headphones does a very good job.
