Sony headphones are some of the most comfortable to wear and the DS3000 is no exception. You can put these on and not worry about them hurting your ears hour after hour. This means a lot too many people and you can count me in on that one. The DS3000 has many different uses and isn’t just for home cinema use. I've used these with my computer or just listening to the home stereo. The DS3000 has performed well every time I have used them.

They seem to work well in most applications that I have tried. They do have a limit of around twenty feet though. After that I tend to see some cut out. Keep it around twenty feet though and there shouldn't be any problem at all. The headphones take two AAA batteries either rechargeable or standard cell works in them. The supplied batteries also need to be fully discharged once every three months to get the best out of them. Another great point is that the charge won't try to charge the standard cell battery which is a nice added touch.

Once you take the headphones off, they stop work which is something I really like about them. The DS3000 also comes with different modes for your listening pleasure. Performance wise the sound quality is very good and it has a nice wide range for your listening pleasure. One great thing about these headphones is it can be used with various applications which make them a good buy. Sure you can find better sounding cordless headphones, but you’re going to pay a lot more. The Sony DFS3000 does a very good job at performance and comfort and should be something you consider if you want to go cordless anytime soon. The Sony DS3000 is everything you expect and more. The only real problem is a slight hiss between songs, which varies depending on where you’re at. Many times this is caused by interference in your home, it is really very minor and in no way affects the performance of the unit.
