Take Gaming to another Level with the PC156
Unless you have been under a rock for the last few years, you know video games or gaming as it is called is a billion-dollar business right now. Getting the most from your gaming experience is where the PC156 comes in from Sennheiser. This set of headphones was designed with the video games in mind and in fact used some of them for the testing. Since I am a big video game player I was more than interested in seeing how well these perform and if they are what many people before me have said. Today's video games are a lot different from what they use to be like. With new gaming consoles being more advanced and the sound quality a lot better a good set of headphones is crucial and this brings us to the Sennheiser PC156.
Looking over the PC156 many things come to mind that I like. First up is the design on the headset. I like the big ear cup holders as it covers your ears and it blocks out noise so you can concentrate on playing the video game instead of worrying about distractions. Nothing can be more frustrating than having someone or something bug you while you’re trying to register the high score on a game or advance through different levels. This shouldn't be a problem at all with this model. Prolonged gaming is actually where these headphones excel the most. Hour after hour of use they still worked well and felt great on my head. Don't worry though it does more than just fit well. The noise canceling microphone and an adjustable boom works very well. The one thing that makes this unit a cut above is the ability to handle very loud noise levels, and with video games today much louder than ever before you need something that can handle it and deliver. This does on all accounts.
The USB and non-USB options are something that is a nice touch on these stereo headphones. Where this unit though really makes its stand is with sound quality. Since we already know, it can handle very loud noise how does it sound at all levels. Surprisingly it works well at different levels and has good range which surprised me. I thought it would just be good at one thing, but for gamers it covered all levels which are a nice asset to have on a set of headphones. In-line volume control makes it nice as this means no worries about trying to adjust the headset as its right at your fingertips. Many models have it on the headset but not this one. I like that innovation a lot. Now these are in the mid level as far as price which really isn't too bad considering all it does. This set of noise canceling headphones is a must buy in my book. You get so much for your money it's hard to turn them away. Especially if you’re into video games than these are a must have. Grab yours before they are all gone. I got mine and couldn't be happier with the performance of them.
