Now I will admit when I first seen these I thought to myself has anyone heard of this company or brand Aipek. Of course, now many times these smaller low -end earphones are some of the best ones on the market. I thought what the heck let us give these a shot you never know what you may get. Read further to discover if these are actually worth your time or better left on the shelf.
Earphones are one of my favorite types of Ipod headphones and no matter who makes them I always like to try something new every now and then. Most people tend to shy away from companies they have never heard of, but if the product is low-cost, I will tend to take the plunge. Today we will take a closer look at the Aipek NB2000T and see how well these stack up against others that I have tried.
At first glances at this set of earphones, you really have to wonder how well these would work. They are not fancy or have any type of design that will make you stand up and take notice so basically they are just a plain Jane. This could be a good thing though as the company may have put more into their product than trying to get a fancy design. Everyone knows with earphones fit is one of the most important things that you need. A bad fit means that it will not block out any of the outside noise and that it tends to hurt your ears. I did not really know what to expect from these but I will admit these were not bad at all. The fit in my ear was nice and comfortable and it blocked out some of the outside noise that I have heard with other earphones. The comfort level was good even after a few hours so I will give them company credit for getting that part right.
Where most companies fail is in the sound quality when they design earphones. So many of these sound all alike so I was interested to see what kind of sound these would produce. Now do not get me wrong I not expecting much so anything I do get is a plus. Well the NB2000T is a solid performer as far as sound quality. Where this set of earphones really excels is in the category of bass performance. It is true it has a nice mixture of tones, but the bass in these are just terrific. All around the sound quality is good, but the bass really stands out. Therefore, if you are like me and love plenty of bass in your music than you better grab yourself a pair of these. I did not expect a lot because they were on the low-end price wise, but the sound is something that I really enjoyed. Many times this is where smaller companies fail, but this one has really worked on this and you can tell as you listen to music with these.
Overall, the NB2000T surprised me in a lot of different ways. First, these come from a company that I have never heard of so I did not expect a lot as earphones go. The custom fit was something that really blew me away. Most low-end products do not have a very good fit so that was something that was a surprise for me. Sound quality was another area I worry about when you need with a company you have never heard of, but this one did an excellent job on that one as well. Construction of these earphones is very good as well. This is a great set overall and is a solid performer that should do well once people get past that they have never heard of this company before. The low-end price should help that a little bit.
The NB2000T is a set of earphones that you will definitely want to look into. Where smaller companies just issue products for the sake of having something out there this company has produced a quality product. I usually do not tell people to buy something unless it is a good performer and this one is. If you’re looking for another set of earphones or want to try something a little different from this is something you will want to look into. I was very impressed with these and they are solid performers. Grab a couple sets that way in case you lose one or someone borrows one set and never returns it you still will have one.
