It seems more and more people these days prefer to listen to music in their own little world as they call it. Outside noises can be the biggest distraction and the only real recourse they have is using noise canceling headphones. The real problem is how good are headphones at blocking outside noise and how and when can I use them. So, I decide I would buy a set and find out for myself. I bought the JVC HANC 250 and boy was I surprised.

If you travel a lot or just love to be alone and block out the world so you can listen to your music than the JVC HANC250 is for you. This is a noise canceling headphone that blocks unwanted sounds and lets you enjoy your music or just relaxing away from everything. There are four main things that I looked for to determine if they are the right fit for me. First I wanted something that was going to be comfortable. I didn't want something that was going to weigh a lot or look bulky and over time would hurt my ears. They worked well on all accounts and were very light so it didn't feel heavy on my head or hurt my neck which is very important to me. Being light was definitely a plus in my book that's for sure.

I wanted great sound quality. This means I need sound over a whole range of music and levels. Many times when you buy a set of headphones you don't always get great differential sound levels from the headphones. Either its bass loaded or it isn't. There usually is no happy medium, but with this model there was a happy medium. It played evenly through all ranges and was able to handle anything I threw at it which was very important. The third thing and something that becomes annoying to me are when you have to purchase batteries all the time. Sure you’re going to go through batteries, but I wanted something that would last for some time. I wasn't expecting miracles just something decent. This model passed my tests in this part too. They lasted much longer than I thought they would so that was another big plus.

Last but not least was the quality of the headphones. I didn't want something that was going to breakdown on me after a few hours of use. The JVC HANC250 is constructed very well and performed better than I expected. It's durable and seems to be one of the better noise canceling headphones I've tried. With a very favorable price and quality construction I would hesitate recommending these to anyone. If you’re looking for a little piece and quiet from the outside world than these will definitely do the job for you. Toss in top notch sound quality and well-constructed headset this has all it needs to take its place as one of the better products on the market out there right now. It does the job and won’t fail you one bit.
