One big advantage of these is you can use them without the noise-canceling feature, which some companies will not let you do. Luckily Audio-Technica is not one of those. The biggest advantage of this feature is you will get much longer battery life than if this feature was not available.

On the performance side of it these definitely perform that is for sure. The ANC7's was very outstanding in the midrange area and it really excels at the high frequency, which is something many models falter at. No matter what type of music you listened to it handle it all without any problems at all. You get plenty of base and good tones throughout the low to high ranges. I had no complaints about the sound quality, as it was very good. I wanted to see how well the noise-canceling feature worked so I took a walk to see how well it would do. The claims of blocking 90 percent of outside noise were pretty accurate. It did an excellent job and the good fit also had a part in that as well. I have to give this company credit as the noise-canceling feature worked well.
