Right now, the Apple Ipod is king for it has great storage ability and has a reputation for durability and longevity in the market. Most people will choose an Apple iPod over anything else because of brand recognition. Now do not think the Zune is a lightweight model by any means. It can do just as much as anything on the market can right now. Microsoft is always updating and making sure, they have everything the iPod offers. In the end, though when you are talking about MP3 music the iPod is still king and looks poised to be there for a long time. Until something better comes along it will be a long time until this Apple product finds a real rival.
Getting the right MP3 player for you will depend on many factors. One is price. How much are you will to spend? My advice is to stay away from the low-end ones as they will just cause you heartache in the long run. Secondly, you will need to know what kind of extras you will want. Depending on what you want will ultimately determine which model you buy. In the end, it will come down to price and selection and what you value most out of one.
